Remember to burn the candle properly. It should not be done in small, closed rooms. You should not burn the candle to the end, because it threatens to break the glass due to the high temperature. The wick should be trimmed before each burning. The first burning of the candle should last no less than 1-2 hours, and preferably about 3-4 hours. The wax should dissolve on its entire surface (up to the edges of the vessel). This will prevent the candle from tunneling, a phenomenon where the candle burns all the way down to the bottom creating a tunnel that causes the candle to go out and prevents the use of all the wax.
